Belvedere Home Made Film Festival

Hello everyone:

I am thrilled to see some films starting to be uploaded to FilmFreeway and I look forward to seeing your submission soon! If you have any difficulty with the upload process, please let me know at info@bhmff.com I can talk you thru the process to help ensure it is available for me to review it.

The event is just about 3 weeks away, and there is lot’s to be done before we gather in the park.

If anyone is interested in volunteering on the day, please let me know, or just show up in the park. I’ll be there all day so just stop by or give me a shout early to let me know what time you are available to help.

I look forward to seeing everyone at the library this Saturday September 19th from 11am-2pm.

This workshop will be fully focused on helping to complete your film so you can submit it for consideration. Team Redwood will be on hand to assist. Please bring your clips or partially completed films so we can help you get them over the finish line.

The deadline for submitting your film is September 24th, so please let me know if I can help with anything.

(If you would benefit from a private tutorial from a member of Team Redwood, some of them are available to book for a reasonable fee.)

Our workshops have been designed to build the confidence needed to make a short film – and now I can’t wait to screen them in Belvedere Park on October 9, 2026 at 6pm.

What to Bring:

💻 Laptop (fully charged) with CapCut installed — use the desktop version, not the cloud version (it’s free!)

🎞️ All of your film clips or partially completed film. We will have time to review works-in-progress if you want feedback from the group.
